David Tennant is gorgeous. He is so jolly and happy and witty. Working with him was a big delight. We had a giggle being mean to each other. He is so warm and charming. On Broadchurch we would all go to the pub and out for dinner. It was like a big family.

DT’s Love Sausage recipe, created by young David John McDonald, age 12.

Ingredients: mum’s annoyance + soft spongy cheap ‘n nasty pan loaf bread + cheap sunflower spread + Mattessons U-Shaped smoked pork sausage + crunchy peanut butter.

1. smear sunflower spread on bread
2. smear crunchy peanut butter on top of spread
3. cut sausage to discs
4. sink them discs into the peanut butter
5. squish it all down
6. “and then you’ve got a particularly excellent sandwich.”
